We’ve had the honor of photographing the Center for Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics annual Biard Lecture for the past few years and it’s always fascinating. The event brings in recognized speakers at the forefront of cosmology and astrophysics research to The Ohio State University campus for the benefit of the university and the central Ohio community. This year’s lecture was “Glass Universe: How the Ladies of the Harvard Observatory Took the Measure of the Stars”, by Dava Sobel, a former New York Times science reporter.
The R. Jack and Forest Lynn Biard Cosmology and Astrophysics Lecture is an annual series of lectures created and endowed by a generous estate gift by the late Captain Forrest R. Biard, U.S. Navy. The event is free and open to the public. Click here for more information.
